In spite of the intense imprisonment and countless check points, the resistance of the Oromo people continued

September 14, 2011 Finfinnee

Due to the ever growing all inclusive and creative Pro Democracy Youth Movement of Qeerroo  and the anger of the public at large, the TPLF led Woyane government is trying hard to keep things under control with all sort of desperate and hopeless actions. While countless imprisonments are being reported, the government have ordered the activation of all check posts and started to check the peaceful public at large as of September 7, 2011.

The security officials have intensified their accusations of helping pro democracy Qeerroo movement and inciting unrest in collaboration with the youth. From Xiqur Hincinni woreda, of West Shoa Zone alone, 17 peaceful individuals have been reportedly detained from the end August to 08th of September 2011.
