Couple of things here
Foreigner’s involvement in current Ethiopian politics and future directions of the country
Westerners should stop middling in Ethiopia’s internal affairs. To them Ethiopian’s lives are valueless evident by their keeping their solders out of Somalia(remember what has had happened to them in early 90s in Somalia and ever since they kept out), but sending poor Ethiopian kids utilizing Meles to do their dirt job, and this got to stop. To them Democracy is for them not for Ethiopians or for Africans for that matter, evident by their demonstration that in their own country one leader should (be elected by the people for the people) not hold power more than 4 years at most eight years, but for Ethiopia Uganda and so on 20+ years being in power is perfectly fine and democratic. Westerner’s ideology is damaging to Africa future and democracy as long as they continue supporting dictatorships and this must be condemned. China has no moral capability to middling in African affairs first place, but the fact is that they have money to do their dirty and secretive actions of degrading Africans who allow them for personal benefit not for the greater good.
Second; Ethiopia is at crossroad for political reform or deform particularly for Oromo and other nations future (Abesha has had their turn). There are four major political fronts brewing in Ethiopia at moment: 1.Chauvinists who is fighting to take us all back to the old way of enforcing Abasha’s values, believes, languages, and their hidden agenda of monopolizing power again (propagated by Ethiopian review, ESAT, and other media outlets, Dangerous). 2. Diehard TPLF who sized power and enjoying all sectors of politics, economy, and monopolizing power from municipality to the national level since1991. It is naive to think that death of Meles is the end of TPLF(Less dangerous). 3. Weak and disorganized opposition parties within the country that has been persistent, but dysfunctional. They are on right direction with no ammunition whatsoever. Their presence however, has double effect: legitimizing Meles’s dictatorship and on the other hand, they have taught the public there is the better way to govern and continue to expose Wayane’s dark side to the international communities (pleasant, but minor effect). 4 the youth allover the country mainly university students who have great reiteration in Ethiopian’s politics, to mention some Qeerroo of Oromia, Southern nations, and the rest have been doing amazing job and they are the hope for change and change is still rests on their shoulder, but they need logistical and material support to bring them up to date and to international slandered (positive, modern, and eventually will prevails)
Lastly not least OLF the mighty name for all Oromos across the board, but needs immediate and urgent reform to live up to their mighty name.
