New Book Announcement from Qeerroo Bilisummaa
Qeerroo Bilisummaa is pleased to announce that a new book summarizing the 2013-2014 activities of Qeerroo and the historical Oromo student movement of April/May 2014 is published and is distributed around the world. The book, authored by an Oromo scholar Daandii Qajeelaa, entitled “A Chronological Summary of Oromian Student Movement Led by Qeerroo Bilisummaa”, effectively documents the Oromo student movement and the brutal response of the Ethiopian regime in a chronological order, by date and place of incident, and is supported by photographs and links to the main source of the information on each incident. It is the first of its kind to document the struggle of the Oromo students known as Fincila Diddaa Gabrummaa (Revolt Against subjugation) in the English Language. All Oromos, who claim to be embodied with Oromo nationalism (Oromummaa), need to purchase this book and have it on their shelves for historical reference and/or pass it to their children. All non-Oromos and friends of the Oromo who are interested to know the magnitude and the essence of the historical 2014 Oromo student movement need to read this book.
