Victims of land grabbing in Oromiya revenged by setting fire on the properties

Mr Tadiwos and Mr Addish G/Yohannes, owners of Luxury Kurruftu resort and farm land in Oromiya Benishangul region respectively have reportedly lost their property due to the work of an angry arsonist last week according to resources from the area. The arsonists are said to be victims of their extensive land grab for the past years.

Mr. Tadiwos and his Luxury y Kuruftu resort was targeted as a revenge not only for his extensive land grabbing by working in hand and glove with the brutal government of Ethiopia but also for his role in brokering countless investors land grabbing deal which in effect have forced the eviction of thousands of small farmers from their ancestral land, according to sources.

The work of arsonists are getting worse and becoming a sign of resistance against land grabbers in recent days in Oromiya region of Ethiopia.

Mr Addish have also lost 4 tractors and dozens of hectares of onsite crops, according to sources.

It is to be recalled that, a Chinese man was also killed in a related incident of land grabbing issue last month in the West Shoa zone of Oromiya.
